THE GYM
So I'm going to the gym tomorrow for the first time in a while!
I am going with some friends which I find eases the pressure I find whilst exercising. The gym we are going to is only £2.50 for how ever long you want to spend there which I think is fab. At home I have a cross trainer but I don't like being confined to one machine; I like having a variety.  When  go to the gym I usually go on the treadmill, rowing machine and a few others that I don't know the names of (:S) I'm hoping to go every tuesday at least as well as my walking. I will let you all know how it goes. Do any of you have any motivational songs that are good to listen to?

Boots spending #4
So, I'm now on product number 4 with my boots spending product reviews.

The next product I bought was the ecotools set of brushes. This was priced at £11.95 for 5 brushes which is great if you think that boots own brand foundation brush costs £8.00 on it's own! Therefore I was quite pleased when I spotted this on the shelves of boots.

I only use the powder brush and foundation brush at the moment because I'm planning on buying some concealer and blusher at the weekend.
At first the brushes did malt on my face but not overly. Since I have been using them more often they have stopped doing this so I can use them in confidence that they won't leave me with brush hairs on my face. The foundation brush blends my foundation well but could do with being washed after uses.
So basically I do quite like this set because I know brushes can get really expensive so I'm pleased that they do the job well and I got five for a price that works out at £2.39 each!

Healthy steps
Today was one of my better days with regards to healthy eating. For breakfast I went with half a banana (It was only half because I dropped the other half on the floor :S) and a weight watchers yoghurt.

For lunch I had a Marmite sandwich, cereal bar, orange and low calorie crisps.

For Dinner I had a vegetarian chilli con carne and pita bread an milk (it was quite spicy).

Then after school I went on an hour long walk with some uber cute dogs c:

That will be all for this post- goodbye

Boots Spending #3
So I have already shown you guys 2 things I bought from boots and this is my 3rd.

I bought something else from natural collections but this time it was an eye shadow. I bought the shade 'Sky Blue' which as you can imagine is a light and natural blue. It isn't bright and too full on It's just a nice shade which sits well and looks fresh. This pot was fairly small but only cost £1.79 which I thought was quite good. I just loved the shade too much so I could not resist!

At first I wasn't sure about buying from the natural collection because of how cheap they were. The price made me think that the quality wasn't going to be great. This risk was one I am pleased about taking and the products I have bought have impressed me. The foundation stays on for long periods of time, the powder really gives the make-up the matte finish it needs and the eye shadow is a subtle shade that you can wear as an everyday eye shadow as it achieves a natural looking tone.

Boots spending #2
As you may know at the weekend I went to boots and spent some money on make-up and make-up utensils. I have already shared with you the first product I brought so I will now show you the 2nd product of mine

Okay so the next thing I bought was the natural collection pressed powder. This goes over the top of foundation and gives your make-up a matte finish. This was also a steal for £1.99 so I thought that I would try it to eliminate the shine. So far it has worked really well and helps the make-up stay on for longer than it does without it.  I enjoy the natural collection's products because the make-up doesn't look too caked on and it feels really natural (hence the name :D).

Boots Spending #1
Yesterday I was doing some spending in boots and I thought I would share what I bought with you...

The first product I bought was the natural collection 'Shine Away' foundation. I brought this product in the porcelain shade which matches my skin tone quite well. The foundation only cost £1.99 so I thought I would give it a try. The bottle contains 40ml and is specifically good for oily skin and is fragrance free. This foundation does take some blending but results in medium coverage and when powder is applied, a matte finish. I am looking forward to the use of this product to see how it works out for my skin. One complaint I do have is that if you have any dry patches of skin on your face, which I do, then the foundation clings to the dry patches and makes them look poorly blended and not very nice. Overall though I am very pleased with this foundation- It was a steal!

Used reviews!
Today I will be reviewing The Body Shop's Passion Fruit shower gel and body butter.

The passion fruit shower gel is lovely. It is 250ml of fruity goodness. I have really enjoyed using this product and enjoy products from the body shop in general. This gel is very sweet and fruity, it feels like you have just cut open a passion fruit and rubbed it all over your body; delicious! This as a soap lathers up really nicely and is very thick . I have found this also works well as a bubble bath and you can wash your body in the process. overall I thought this was a really good buy and I am planning on buying it again!

Go here to buy this for a mere £3 absolute bargin!

Next is the passion fruit body butter! As you can probably tell I love all things passion fruit and this is no exception. This is a 200ml body butter which if you buy now you can get for an amazing £5. This product hydrates your skin and makes you feel so soft and smelly (a nice sweet scent).  It is so fruity and vibrant. This tub has lasted me forever! It leaves you with lovely smooth skin. I love it! You can get it here:

Day #1

So today was the first day of my healthy lifestyle change. I didn't exactly have the most healthy day but I'm planing on a 30 minute walk tomorrow (I'll tell you how that goes). Here is a list of what I had to eat today.

Breakfast: Granola and milk
This is a really yummy breakfast to have, granola is full of nuts, raisins, almonds and honey oat clusters. YUM

Lunch: Low Low cheese spread sandwich with wholemeal bread, a special K cereal bar, a pink lady apple. Low Low cheese spread is lovely, I simply can't get enough of it! Pink Lady apples are oh s juicy and sweet; I love them.

Snacks: Smoky Bacon and lentil low calorie crisps.

Dinner: Smoked Mackerel salad with low fat mayonnaise.
I always find mackerel really delicious and tasty so this is a very good meal and healthy as well :)

I will give you an update tomorrow

What is my motivation?

As you may know I have decided to make some changes in my life in regards to healthy eating and living. The reason for my motivation is down to a lovely woman called Sprinkleofglitter. She has decided to start a #glittergetsfitter tag where her fans (sprinklerino's) post motivational pictures or just paragraphs about getting fitter so we can all go on the journey together. I have personally found this extremely helpful in terms of motivation. When you know other people are going through the same thing as you I find it really comforts me because It gives you people to confide in and talk to. The sprinkleofglitter fans are very nice so if you need some motivation for getting fit then simply type in #Glittergetsfitter on tumblr...it works for me :)

Hey guys!

So today I said to myself I want to get fit'. I want to get healthy, and I want to shed some pounds in the process. I am going to be aiming for a healthier lifestyle and more sensible choices when it comes to snacking and eating. I will hopefully be sharing some of my motivation on this blog so please look forward to that. I will post healthy, easy and yummy recipe's for people to try, and each day (give or take) I will post at least one thing I have done to contribute to my healthy lifestyle change. :)
